01Information we collect

Inbox Standard ("I", "we", "us", "our") operates this website and provides white-label email development services to clients. We collect a few categories of information:

Information you provide directly

  • Contact details — name, email address, and phone number if given
  • Project information — design files, brand assets, briefs, and content you send us to build your emails
  • Billing details needed to identify your order
  • Any messages or correspondence you send us

Information collected automatically

  • Basic log data — IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and timestamps
  • Cookies and similar technologies (see Section 6)
  • Site analytics, where enabled

We don't knowingly collect sensitive categories of data (health, racial/ethnic origin, religious beliefs, etc.), and we ask clients to avoid including this in project files or messages.

02How we use it

We use the information we collect to deliver and improve our services, including to:

  • Build, QA, and deliver your emails
  • Communicate about quotes, projects, invoices, and support
  • Process payments through our third-party processor
  • Keep the site secure and working properly
  • Understand how the site is used, so we can improve it
  • Meet legal and tax obligations

Where GDPR/UK GDPR applies, we rely on: performance of a contract (delivering the work you hired us for), legitimate interests (running and securing the business), consent (for optional cookies or marketing), and legal obligation (tax records).

03Payment processing

Payments are handled by a third-party payment processor. We don't directly collect, store, or process full card details — that information goes straight to the processor, which maintains its own security standards and privacy practices. We only receive what's needed to confirm payment and fulfill your order, such as a transaction confirmation and billing name/email.

04How we share it

We don't sell your personal information. We may share it with:

  • Service providers who support the business — payment processing, hosting, email tools, analytics — bound to protect your data
  • Legal authorities, if required by law or to protect our rights or the safety of others
  • A successor business, if we're ever acquired or merge with another company

05International transfers

We and our service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards — such as Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers out of the EU/UK — so your data stays protected wherever it's processed.

06Cookies & tracking

This site may use cookies to run core functionality, remember preferences, and understand traffic through analytics. You can control cookies in your browser settings, and where legally required, we'll ask for consent before setting non-essential cookies.

07Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed to complete your project, provide support, and meet legal or accounting obligations. Project files and communications are typically kept for 12 months after project completion unless a longer period is required or requested.

08Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data; restrict or object to certain processing; withdraw consent; opt out of targeted advertising; and lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. To exercise any of these, reach out using the details in Section 11 — we'll respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

09Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we can't guarantee absolute protection.

10Children's privacy

This site and our services are intended for businesses and individuals aged 18 and older. We don't knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has shared personal information with us, please contact us so we can remove it.

11Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or the law. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
